Saturday October 22nd
10:30am SEMINAR ROOMS, Pathology building: alpaca talk
11:30am-1pm, indoor riding school: alpaca handling session
The well anticipated Alpaca Day will feature 2 parts: a talk with lots of interesting information on alpacas and alpaca farming and a live animal handling session to get some hands on experience of examining these amazing creatures!
Talk admission will be free for CUVZS members (you can buy your yearly membership on the door) or £1 for non-members
The handling session and talk combined will be £4 for members and £6 for non-members
Due to restraints to number of alpacas that can be brought to the vet school, the handling session will be limited to 20 places, so if you’re keen you’ll have to be quick off the mark! Email cuvzsenquiries@gmail.com when tickets come out on FRIDAY 7th OCTOBER at 6pm. The first 20 people to do so will get the places and will be notified by email. Cheques must be made payable to CUVZS and posted by Fri October 14th to EMMA YOUNGS either in her pigeonhole at Pembroke or at the vet school.
