The last talk of term will be given by Peter Kertesz, a human dentist who is dental consultant to London Zoo and the International Zoo Veterinary Group. For his services to veterinary science, he is the only dentist ever to have been elected an honorary member of the RCVS.

Peter will be talking about the diverse dental structures and dental needs of zoo patients; being prepared for any clinical scenario (many animals can’t be examined before being anaesthetised); custom designing his own tools to equip himself for the smallest and largest patients; and the importance of teamwork and preparation in a multidisciplinary specialty.

The talk will begin at 6:30. Come at 6:15 for Pizza.

Talks are free for members and £1 for non-members.

This is the last talk of term, and also the last talk before we hand over to the new committee!
