As is traditional, there will be ANIMALS – from cuddly bunnies and a skunk to somewhat less cuddly snakes, tortoises and spiders. Come to the only VET GARDEN PARTY in Cambridge! (Non-vets also welcome!)

Things were very touch and go with a blizzard sweeping across the country and putting many people’s travel plans into jeopardy.  Thankfully, we managed to achieve an (almost) full contingent of speakers and the vast majority of our delegates made it down to Cambridge for the weekend.

We on the CUVZS Committee hope you all had a fantastic weekend and hope to see you again in the future.  Photos from the weekend can be found over in the Photo Gallery!

Last Saturday saw falcons, hawks and kestrels come swooping into the vet school!   Courtesy of ‘Flight of the Falcon Displays’, our attendees got to try their hand at bird of prey restraint, hooding, crop tubing and beak and talon trimming!  A specialist vet was also on hand to discuss veterinary related issues for birds of prey.
