Coming up in the next couple of weeks are two exciting events:

The exotic forensics practical will take place on Saturday 31st January from 10am-1pm. The session will be run by the John and Margaret Cooper, patrons of CUVZS. The day will consist of an initial powerpoint presentation, a break for coffee and CAKE and then a session in the teaching lab to look at specimens. The limit on numbers is 25 people, so sure you sign up quickly! The day will be free for members and £3 for non-members.

The rabbit surgery day will take place on Saturday 7th February from 10am-1pm. The session will be run by Jilly Pearson, well known exotics vet and lecturer in all things exotic at the vet school! The day will include practice of some basic rabbit surgeries on dead specimens, and is sure to be an invaluable experience for anyone with an interest in exotics practice, or even those planning on going in to small animal practice. Experience of rabbit surgery is hard to come by, so make the most of this great opportunity! There will be 24 places available on this practical and again it will be first come first served. The day will be free for CUVZS members and £5 for non-members.
